Well deepening your own hands: features, technology, methods and recommendations
It often happens that the water level in the well has drastically decreased. This can lead, for example, abnormal weather conditions. In this case, the problem will become relevant for all sources in the district.If there is a shortage of water only at one point for a long time, the reason may lie in hydrogeological conditions. In such a situation, the bottom surface will rise, and the debit of water (steady flow) will decrease.
In order to return the volume of water reserves, it is necessary to deepen the mine. To do this, you can install several rings that have a smaller diameter. When deepening the well, it is necessary to follow the same rules that are used in its construction. In the presence of water, it should be pumped out, and then remove the soil.
To work on the deepening of the water source you need to prepare:
- a device for lifting soil;
- rope ladder;
- devices for lighting.
For pumping water, perhaps, you may need two pumps at once. But a shovel should have a short stalk. Looking for a winch, you must take the one that will be able to withstand a load of up to 600 kg. For the work will require more and waterproof clothing, high rubber boots and a protective helmet.
Before you start the deepening of the well, you need to pump out the water. If the inflow is small, the procedure is carried out in buckets. Otherwise, you can use the pumps. After pumping, you can begin to raise to the surface the ground, silty deposits and sand.

If the water disappeared due to the fact that the aquifer is now nearby, the level of the second aquifer should be reached - you will need to dig about 5 m. Method of work
It is necessary to begin the process by dismantling the house above the well and the water intake mechanism. Next is the pumping of water. The mine is cleaned, and the seams of the well are reinforced with metal straps.
If you carry out the deepening of the well with a plastic pipe, then you will need to purchase a pipe whose length is 1 m. Its diameter should be smaller compared to the inside diameter of the well. Plastic pipe must go inside the mine to the bottom.
In the pipe, you must first make holes, their recommended diameter is 20 mm. The inner walls are tightened with stainless steel mesh. This will get a filter. Now with the help of zhelonka (cylindrical vessel) it is necessary to dig a hole, the depth of which is one meter. Inside the filter is installed. The top hole should not be under dirty water.
When the well is deepened, water is recommended to be pumped out with an electric submersible pump. The filter is moving down. It is necessary to drill a well, the depth of which will be about three concrete rings. Next, the soil and sand are removed, as well as excess water. Concrete rings are lowered to the bottom, the diameter of which should be less than those installed in the mine. Rings are fastened with staples, special attention should be paid to the place of joining of new and old columns.
The second method of deepening plastic pipes
In this case, the deepening is done manually. The soil is dug and lifted by buckets. With the deepening of the shaft inside should be lowered the pipe with ribs. Instead of a plastic pipe, you can use plastic rings. They are interconnected, and the joints are coated with a hydro-resistant sealant.
The product is lowered into the mine. Between the plastic and the walls is placed a mixture of sand and cement in the ratio of 1: 5. Work will require not only endurance, but also concentration. It is necessary to complete the deepening at the moment when the water begins to flow quite intensively.
If you compare this method with the first,where the rings of not so impressive diameter are installed in the drilled well and are connected with the old rings, in the second method the structure will be installed from the bottom to the top of the mine. This technology is especially relevant for swimmers. When recessing, the worker must be on a special swing or wooden raft so as not to get stuck in the ground.
