  3. Renault Sandero Stepway is an off-road version of the Renault Sandero car built on the Renault Logan chassis. The car is produced with a single body variant five-door hatchback and belongs to the class B.

    The development of the Renault Sandero Steppe began in 2005, and its production started in 2007 in Brazil. European premiere (under the brand Dacia) was held at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008 year, at the same time, its production was started on the territory of Romania.

    Later the Sandero Stepway assembly was organized in South Africa and Russia. Compared with the usual Sandero, the version of the Steppes has an increased ground clearance of 20 mm and a protective body kit of unpainted plastic.

    The increase in ground clearance is achieved by installing new shock absorbers on the car. In addition, the off-road version of the Sandero hatchback received stiffer springs and alloy wheels with a larger radius.

    Dimensions of the Renault Sandero Stepway are: 4 024 mm in length, 1 746 mm in width and 1 550 mm in height. The car's ground clearance is 175 mm, and the trunk volume can vary from 320 to 1 200 liters, depending on the position of the rear seats.

    Externally, the car looks more holistic and modern than the basis for Logan. Bright and original, but quiet design decisions make Sandero Steppe closer to the design direction of Renault than Dacia.

    Protective covers over wheel arches and on bumpers, plus a rather high ground clearance, give the hatchback a resemblance to crossovers. The front overhang of the Stepway is small, and the rear is almost completely absent, which indicates good geometric parameters of patency.

    The recognizable car makes the shape of the fifth door and the rear window frame, as well as the characteristic rear lights and the falshradiator grille. The lower edge of the tailgate is located high enough, so to load the load into the luggage compartment you have to lift it to a considerable height.

    The interior design of Renault Sandero Steppe is simple and uncomplicated, which corresponds to its low cost. The center console is flat, vertically positioned, the buttons on it are simple in shape. The overall appearance of the salon is enlivened by the inserts under the metal within the deflectors of the blowing.
