Two accused of the murder of Boris Nemtsov - Zaur Dadaev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov - sent a complaint to the Committee against Torture.
Dadaev, the alleged perpetrator of the murder, complained that he had not been fed for two days after his detention on March 5, and was also tortured with electricity. Eskerkhanov complains that the escorts who brought him to court took pictures of him naked and also set his beard on fire.
According to the information available to the Committee against Torture, the Investigation Committee has not yet begun to verify the facts of the allegations of torture by the accused. Moreover, his lawyer Yevgeny Gubin was not allowed to see Dadaev.
