The Speaker of the Federation Council expressed confidence that the bill on the ban on treatment abroad for civil servants proposed by the Communist deputies violated the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
“To prohibit officials and their family members, to deprive them of the right to protect their health is inadmissible, this is a violation of the Constitution, this is an invasion of the rights and freedoms of citizens. I think such laws are inappropriate in our country, ”said Valentina Matvienko. At the same time, Matvienko believes that Russian civil servants should set an example for citizens and use domestic medical services.
