Opera singer Maria Maksakova could not congratulate her son Ilya, born in 2004, on his birthday.
Recall that in 2016 Maksakova and her husband Denis Voronenkov left Russia, explaining that the persecution allegedly related to their political views. It should be noted that the opera singer and her husband were deputies from United Russia. In the spring of 2017, Voronenkov was killed in Kiev by a killer. Maksakova’s two older children, Ilya and Lyudmila, remain with their father in Russia, and Ivan, Voronenkov’s son, is now with her.
The editors of uznayvse.ru want to add: Maksakova expressed the hope that Ilya, who was already old enough to get a passport, would come to her to Ukraine.
