Is pellet boiler dangerous?
Attention should be paid to the fire safety of the pellet boiler and the presence in its design of a fire protection system in the auger cavity and bunker. The simplest version of such a system is a tank with water locked with a paraffin insert. When the temperature in the screw cavity rises, the paraffin melts, freeing the passage of water and pouring in the ignited pellets. The method is simple but effective. Electronic security systems and alerts are also used.
Do not forget that boilers for solid fuels, as opposed to gas, have a higher inertia. This means that even after the boiler has stopped, it continues to heat up for a while. Therefore, it is mandatory that such a boiler should have protection against overheating, and even better, a forced cooling system.
