Pomegranate juice has a fixing effect. For a child, this can result in a disturbance in the normal functioning of the intestines: colic, bloating, constipation.

How to eat a pomegranate nursing mom

Doctors answer the question: is it possible to feed a pomegranate, in this way - it is possible, but it is necessary to introduce it into the diet carefully, starting with 3-4 grains. It is even better to start with a small amount of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, diluted with water. Do not drink store juice containing preservatives and dyes.

It is better to try any new product to a nursing mother in the first half of the day in order to notice the possible reaction of the baby in time.It is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the fruit: choose ripe fruits, with a dense skinned dents and soft areas.

If the "tests" were normal, you should not get too carried away with grenades (remember the high acidity and the ability to mount). It is advisable for mom to eat no more than 0.5-1 pomegranate or 30-50 ml of diluted juice per day.
