In Kronstadt, an 81-year-old pensioner died after being taken to the police, suspecting of theft.
The incident occurred on February 3. The pensioner was detained in one of the supermarkets of the Magnit chain, suspecting that she had stolen butter. At the entrance to the police station, the woman became ill. The doctors who arrived at the scene could not help the pensioner. Supposedly, she died as a result of a heart attack.
The editors of uznayvse.ru want to add that Sergei Galitsky, general director and co-owner of the Magnit network, also expressed the view that it was not worth calling the police, given the age of the woman.
