In Kostroma, where local elections are currently taking place, the police, the Emergencies Ministry and activists of the pro-Kremlin NOD movement have blocked the Open Elections observer headquarters.
At the same time, the police ousted all people who were present there, including journalists, and also opened the door of the apartment where the headquarters is located. This is explained by the fact that a murder allegedly occurred in the apartment. Now the police are looking for a corpse in the "bad apartment". It is known that politician Alexei Navalny, supporting PARNAS party, arrived at the scene of the incident.
At the same time, voting continues in the city. From a number of Kostroma polling stations, observers from the PARNAS party were removed under various pretexts.
