How to make a dome balloon with your own hands
The dome of the balloon is best sewn from durable nylon materials (polyester or polyamide). So that the fabric does not let the air through, from the outsideneed to cover with polyurethane or silicone. The dome is sewn from segments, the number and dimensions of which depend on the size of the balloon. The base of the dome - the opening for inflation - must be protected by a tape of heat-resistant fabric. At the top of the dome it is necessary to provide a parachute valve through which heated air will be discharged to lower the ball. For greater strength of the dome, you can sew ribbons vertically and horizontally. At the top of the tape are attached to the ring parachute valve, and below - to the ropes of the suspension.
The basket is made of wooden rod, and its bottom is best done from the seaplywood, which carries moisture well. Stainless steel wire ropes, which attach the basket to the dome, can serve as a framework for the basket. These cables are best wrapped in leather covers to protect against damage.
This is the most important part of the balloon, which must be chosen with special attention. Liquefied propane is used as fuel for these burners. They are made of stainless steel with special protective covers.
