The head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Igor Artemyev, said that the share of state participation in the Russian economy has reached a red line.
According to him, such a policy, if it continues, will lead to the absolute inefficiency of the economy, because of which citizens will suffer. Artemyev noted that Russia needs investments in private capital and the creation of new jobs. According to the head of the FAS, the privatization of non-core assets of natural monopolies can help the Russian economy, and according to Artemyev, any monopoly has them.

The editors of uznayvse.ru want to add that earlier the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev said that the companies Bashneft, Alrosa and Rosneft would be privatized first. Two options for the privatization of these companies are being considered - a radical one, involving the sale of more than 50 percent of the shares, and moderate, in which 25 percent of the company's securities will be sold on the stock exchange.
