But in the basic configurations, manufacturers save on everything, so sometimes mechanical regulators are found even in new foreign cars. Functions and Purpose
The brake force regulator is used to automatically change the fluid pressure in the cylinders of the rear brakes of the car. In this case, the adjustment is carried out as the loads acting on the machine at a decrease in speed.Such regulators are used in systems with pneumatic or hydraulic drive. It is necessary to change the pressure of the cylinders in order to prevent complete locking of the rear wheels. If they are blocked, the car will go, the driver may lose control.
In some models of cars, in order to maintain controllability and stability, they additionally use similar mechanisms-regulators on the brake drives of the front wheels.
In addition, the brake force regulator is used to improve the efficiency of stopping an empty car. When the machine is not loaded, its grip will be different from the clutch of the loaded car. The reasons are weak spring. And the owner has two options again - he can change the springs for more rigid ones or install a rubber gasket to increase the pressure on the “sorcerer” mechanism.
Replacing the regulator on the tee
Motorists sometimes perform the replacement of the standard "sorcerer" on the tee. Among the reasons are the initial malfunction of the node, souring and failure, various other problems. Tee allows you to simultaneously block and evenly distribute the braking force between all wheels.
